Cathedral and Diocesan letters and directives concerning Covid 19

 

Masks must be worn and we will practice social distancing with some pews being roped off and please be mindful of 6' between family units.

As of November 1, 2020, the statement from the Indiana Catholic Bishops Extend Mass Dispensation:

"While commending our pastors and pastoral life coordinators who have gone to great lengths to assure safe worship spaces in our churches, given the continued increase of Covid-19 cases in our state, the Indiana bishops hereby extend the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation beyond 1 November 2020 until further notice. The Indiana bishops will continue to monitor the situation to determine when it might be advisable to modify or lift the dispensation."

Personal handheld devices may be used during Mass to follow along with daily readings. Log into USCCB.org - highlight the date on the calendar for Daily Readings and the readings will appear on your device. Internet access while in the Cathedral, go to CICFW-Guest, use passcode saintmichael.
